Juniper Green was part of the Dalkeith Game Fair this year, some of the member’s got out there and got to know the locals of Dalkeith while helping out SACS. The club wanted to lend a hand and get more people involved in sports like air rifle and clay target shooting while having a bit of fun at the same time. At the end of June the club got this letter from Ian the director at SACS…

Dalkeith Fair

I write to thank you and all of the members of Juniper Green who helped SACS at Dalkeith Fair this year.

Thanks to the generosity of your club and its members, the weekend was a great success and we were able to provide both airgun and shotgun coaching and shooting for many young people over the weekend (and some not so young!) absolutely free of charge.

Many SACS members turned up at the show, and we were all proud that SACS was able to provide this for the kids – what a great day they all had, and great publicity for SACS as well.

All of this was only made possible by the generosity and forward-thinking of people like you, and we are all grateful – thanks again.

I would be grateful if you could let those members who helped over the Fair weekend see this letter, and pass our thanks to all of them.
