JGARC Indoor Range
Located in the village of Juniper Green, on the south west side of Edinburgh, beneath the picturesque Pentland hills.
The indoor range is 20yds long and has five firing points, we offer a friendly, safe environment for shooters of all abilities, and we have a qualified instructor to assist from basic weapon handling to coaching at competition level. (Tuition is always available to any member of the club)
There are a limited number of club guns for members and guests to use, ranging from break barrels to the recently more popular pre-charged pneumatic.
Nightly fees are payable and set each year at the AGM and this contributes towards tea/coffee facilities and the up keep of the club.

The village hall is a council run property so unfortunately is closed on any public holiday dates that clash;
The indoor range is also closed for the duration of the schools holiday terms.The indoor range can only be opened by a full member and at the relevant times.
JGARC outdoor range
The outdoor range is located about a mile and a half to the west of the indoor range in the neighbouring village of Currie. The range is set in 18-20 acres of mixed woodland comprising of pine and mature native trees. Full members have the option of a key to access the range.
We offer the members a full 45yd range with protected back stop and a separate 10m pistol range.
‘The club’ also runs HFT competitions throughout the year and these are a great time to become involved with other members and learn not only new shooting skills but also the art of course building, the big emphasis is on enjoying yourself.
The club moves outside for the summer months (May – September) and the days and times are the same as the indoor range.

Only full members can use the outdoor range outwith club times. But full members can and do use the range anytime and day of the week, unless there’s a competition on or a scheduled work party.

100 yds past Garden centre heading North from A7o, or 500yds from the Heriot Watt university roundabout heading south from the A71, the club is situated on the West side of the road, in a gap in the stonedyke wall. Which opens up to a railway siding.
